Outdoor Pursuits First Aid

Outdoor Pursuits 16-hour First Aid - Level 3 (VTQ)

This course is designed for outdoor pursuit instructors and students, mountain climbers, watersports or SCUBA instructors or anyone undertaking outdoor activities in more remote areas where the Emergency Medical Services are going to be delayed getting to you.


This 16-hour course is aligned with the Institute for Outdoor Learning (IOL) Statement of Good Practice on Outdoor First Aid at Band 3.


We can offer this course as a classroom or blended course, where students complete the Activity First Aid online blended part 1 course, then attend a classroom course to practice the skills that have been learnt online.


All our first aid courses fully meet the UK and European Resuscitation Council Guidelines 2021 as per the HSE requirements and are endorsed by Training Qualifications UK (TQUK).


Certificates are valid for 3 years.
