COVID-19 Policy                                                                      Updated March 2022

Although the government guidelines have now been eased we will still continue to take sensible precautions during our training to ensure the safety and well-being of everyone.

We have implemented the following measures to keep us all safe:

  1. If you have any of the symptoms of COVID-19 (e.g. new persistent cough, high temperature, loss or change to sense of smell or taste) you must not attend training. We will arrange an alternative future course for you.
  2. If you have tested positive for COVID-19 you must not attend training until you have tested negative on two consecutive days.
  3. We may still limit class sizes dependent on the size of the room to ensure suitable space and distance can be maintained.
  4. There will be hand sanitizer available and regular hand-washing protocols in place.
  5. We maintain a rigorous manikin cleaning protocol and where possible allocate one manikin to each learner for the duration of the course.
  6. We have altered our practical training sessions so that trainers and learners don’t need to come into direct contact with each other and can remain socially distant.
  7. We will provide latex-free gloves for relevant practical sessions and also individual face shields for use when practicing with the manikins.
  8. Face masks are entirely optional, however we would still recommend you put one on when practicing on a 1 to 1 basis with your course partner.

We continue to take all reasonable measures to keep our staff and our customers safe and to minimise risk to the best of our ability. We have strict cleaning regimes, conduct a thorough clean of the venue daily and clean frequent touchpoints throughout the course of the day.

Your understanding and cooperation in helping us to maintain a safe environment for everyone is appreciated.
